A century of tradition
in red partridge hunting
The Estate
Valbueno is a private hunting reserve of approximately one thousand hectares. It is located in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Mudela (Ciudad Real), in a privileged and strategic geographical area. The family that owns Valbueno, which has been involved for many years in the organization of traditional red-legged partridge driven hunts, provides its experience in the management of the game reserve, which is essentially aimed at ensuring the purity and optimum density of the partridge population.

We pass on our passion for hunting and nature from generation to generation.

It was King Alfonso XIII, a great partridge shooting enthusiast, who initiated and promoted the practice in "La Encomienda de Mudela". From there, it spread to neighbouring estates and regions, including "Valbueno". The organisation of partridge shooting on this estate began in the early 20th century.
Hunting
The family that owns Valbueno brings its commitment and experience in the management of the preserve.
A large number of professionals, veterinarians, gamekeepers, secretaries, loaders, scouts and game managers are involved in the organization of the hunting activity in Valbueno, who, with the greatest effort and dedication, make every hunting day a unique experience for our hunters.
The Cortijo and its Spanish Patio
Valbueno is an old Andalusian style Cortijo with a magnificent carriage entrance and a large cobbled courtyard. The architectural ensemble is made up of five different houses, all of them decorated with great charm. It also has a small chapel and a swimming pool.
