Finca Valbueno

The estate

Valbueno is located in the South of Castilla-La Mancha, the land of Don Quixote, specifically in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Mudela, Ciudad Real. The estate is located in the geographical centre of the Mudela region, the area with the greatest tradition of red-legged partridge hunting in the world. We are only two hours away from Madrid by car, on the Andalusian highway (A-4).

Countryside and Surroundings

Our landscape is characterised by the existence of large extensions of land dedicated to the sowing of cereals and arable land, which coexist with large areas of Mediterranean woodland. Its orography is undulating, with wide valleys surrounded by hills and slightly steep ravines, which are the ideal habitat for centuries-old holm oaks and other tree species such as cork oaks and pines. The landscape is completed with dense rockrose and broom groves, and other smaller herbaceous species, such as thyme, rosemary and lavender.
